Terms of Service
Last updated August 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of VIBE, including the website, apps, Reels, Stories, Lounges, Messages, Love Alert, and any related services (together, “VIBE”). By creating an account or using VIBE, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
If you do not agree, do not use VIBE.
1. The service
VIBE is a social platform. You can build a profile, post, upload photos and videos, join lounges, message people, and optionally turn on Love Alert. VIBE is not a bank, not a licensed dating service, not a medical provider, and not a background-check company.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 to create an account. Love Alert and romantic discovery are 16+. You are responsible for the accuracy of the date of birth you give us. We may suspend accounts that lie about age.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your password, your sessions, and everything done from your account. Keep your login to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else is in it. House or extra profiles created by an owner still have to follow these Terms.
4. Your content
You keep the rights to what you create. You grant VIBE a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on VIBE so the product can work — feeds, profiles, Reels, Stories, lounges, search, and backups. You represent that you own it or have permission to post it, including music, faces, and trademarks. Licensed catalog tracks on Sounds are only those the operator has the right to offer. Uploading someone else’s commercial recording without rights is not allowed.
You can delete your posts, reels, stories, and account. Deletion may take time to fully clear from backups and caches.
5. License to VIBE’s look
VIBE’s name, glow, layout, code, and design belong to the operators of VIBE. Don’t copy the product, scrape it at scale, or reverse-engineer it except as the law allows.
6. Rules
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or dox anyone
- Post sexual content involving anyone 17 or under, or any child sexual abuse material
- Impersonate people, brands, or VIBE staff
- Spam, run scams, phish, or run pyramid schemes
- Upload malware, or attack or overload our systems
- Use VIBE to traffic drugs, weapons, or other illegal goods
- Collect other people’s data with bots without permission
We can remove content, suspend features, or close accounts that break these Terms or the Community Guidelines. We can also report illegal activity to the authorities.
7. Love Alert
Love Alert is optional. It only matches people who turned it on. It is not a promise of a date, a relationship, or anyone’s character. Meet people in public. Tell a friend. VIBE does not screen users, does not verify identities beyond what you see on a profile, and does not guarantee safety in person.
8. Messages and lounges
Direct messages and lounge chats are between the people in them. We may access them when we need to run the service, stop abuse, or follow the law. Don’t treat a chat as a lawyer’s office or a vault.
9. VIBE is not responsible for
To the fullest extent allowed by law, VIBE and its operators, owners, employees, and partners are not responsible for:
- Anything a user posts, says, uploads, streams, or messages — including photos, videos, audio, bios, and comments
- Whether a profile is real, accurate, or belongs to the person it claims to be
- Love Alert results, matches, “vibes,” compatibility scores, or anyone you meet through VIBE
- Dates, relationships, money sent, gifts, or anything that happens off the platform
- Harassment, scams, catfishing, or crimes committed by other users
- Lost, delayed, corrupted, or deleted photos, videos, messages, or account data
- Outages, slow uploads, failed publishes, or videos that don’t play on a given device
- Third-party music, YouTube links, widgets, skins, or sites you open from VIBE
- Devices, browsers, carriers, or Wi-Fi you use to reach VIBE
- Anyone using VIBE in a way that breaks the law or these Terms
- Decisions you make based on something you saw on VIBE
VIBE is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, VIBE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or content, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to VIBE is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50). Some places don’t allow these limits; in those places they apply to the maximum the law allows.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and hold VIBE harmless from claims that come from your content, your use of VIBE, or your breaking these Terms, including reasonable legal fees.
12. Copyright complaints
If you believe something on VIBE infringes your copyright, send a notice with your contact info, a description of the work, where it appears on VIBE, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or their agent. We may remove the material and, for repeat issues, the account.
13. Changes
We can change VIBE and these Terms. We’ll update the date at the top. Keeping the account after a change means you accept the new Terms. If a change is material, we’ll try to notice you in the product or by email.
14. End of the account
You can delete your account in Settings. We can close an account that is unused, abusive, or illegal. Some records (reports, legal holds) may stay as required by law.
15. Contact
